Team & careers
Technology that travels the world –
and the people who make it happen
Working at SFI
We plan, manufacture and install conveyor systems for vehicle production – mostly one-off systems and conversions during ongoing plant operation.
From day one you work on real customer projects with deadlines, budgets and formal acceptance.
The team behind the installations
Design, project management, electrical engineering, manufacturing, installation, service and administration all work at one site.
Coordination runs directly between the people involved, without intermediate levels.
What we offer
Working hours, equipment and development:
How we work at SFI
Four things that shape day-to-day work here:
Responsibility instead of narrow job descriptions
Our projects cannot always be divided into rigid areas of responsibility.
Anyone who sees a good solution is welcome to put it forward and carry it out, with the necessary backing from project management and the management board.
Direct coordination
Questions are settled directly with the people who can answer them.
Design, project management, installation and the management work closely together – without unnecessary approval loops.
Engineering that does not come from a catalogue
Many of our systems are one-off solutions. That means analysing, trying things out, improving them and taking responsibility for the result.
If you enjoy solving technical problems, you will find demanding tasks here.
When things get tight on site
In plant engineering, not everything always goes exactly to plan.
When deadlines get tight or a quick solution is needed on site, we work on it together – regardless of position or department.
On the road for SFI
Our installations run on every continent – and our fitters and commissioning engineers are wherever they are needed. If you want to, you will see the world with SFI: from plants across Europe to projects overseas.
- Plannable assignments – travel is part of the job, but never a permanent state without compensation
- Experienced teams – nobody travels alone, well-established colleagues on site
- Fair conditions – travel time, per diems, bonuses and rest periods are clearly regulated
